Mayumi Randall is a Vancouver-based performer and educator in both classical and jazz piano genres. She has a Doctor of Musical Arts  from the University of Cincinnati and studied jazz at the University of North Texas. While in Cincinnati, she received a fellowship to the Aspen Music Festival as an accompanist for advanced violin players.  In addition to owning and managing a music wholesale company, she has been active as an educator, with a special interest in teaching jazz piano to classically trained pianists with the goal of expanding their knowledge and skill in the jazz genre. She is presently a faculty member in the Richmond Music School.
