About Us

Concerts in Care Saskatchewan presents professional live music performances for elderly and vulnerable audiences living in care homes, long-term care facilities, hospitals, and retirement communities throughout Saskatchewan. What began as a modest initiative has continued to grow steadily, with the organization now serving communities across the province.

Our Concerts in Care program was created in recognition of the important role that music and the arts play in enhancing quality of life, reducing isolation, and fostering meaningful human connection. Many residents living in care have limited access to professional arts experiences, particularly in rural and underserved communities. By bringing musicians directly into these settings, we ensure that individuals who may no longer be able to attend concerts in the community can still experience the joy, comfort, and stimulation of live performance. To date, more than 500 concerts have been presented for elders in care across Saskatchewan.

Today, the program continues to expand in earnest, reaching new communities and engaging professional musicians from across Saskatchewan and Canada. Through these performances, Concerts in Care not only enriches the lives of residents, but also supports artists and strengthens the cultural fabric of communities throughout the province.
