Having begun piano studies at the age of five, pianist Mark Anderson continued his studies eventually earning a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue advanced work. His career has included performing and touring as a soloist in Japan, the former Soviet Union, Europe, Great Britain, Ireland and North America. He also enjoys joining with colleagues to perform chamber music. Mark has six CDs to date on the Nimbus label. He was appointed Assistant Professor in Piano and Chamber Music at University of British Columbia, Vancouver in September 2012. In addition, he continues to be Executive Director of New World Music Academy in Pleasanton, California.
