Caroline Olsen is a versatile string performer currently pursuing doctoral studies in viola performance under Marina Thibeault at the University of British Columbia. After graduating summa cum laude from McMaster University with Honours Bachelors of both Science and Music, Caroline launched a freelance career as a violist, violinist, vocalist, and educator. She has appeared in the viola sections of the Vancouver Island Symphony, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Niagara Symphony Orchestra, as well as many other ensembles exploring diverse genres. She has instructed private music students of all ages for over a decade and maintains a private studio.
