Amanda Chan has achieved recognition as a concert pianist, teacher, lecturer, adjudicator and examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She has given concerts in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia. Locally, she is an active chamber player and often performs as a member of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and in the VSO Chamber Players Series. Amanda is on faculty at the UBC School of Music teaching private piano and chamber music. She is also the Head of the Piano Department at the Vancouver Academy of Music.
