Meran Currie-Roberts

Meran Currie-Roberts is a multi-talented artist who enjoys a successful career as a cellist, teacher, and administrator across Canada. Former Dean of the Manitoba Conservatory, she is a member of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and Executive Director of the Health Arts Society of Alberta, bringing hundreds of concerts to elders in care annually. She has frequently appeared with the Calgary Philharmonic and Winnipeg Symphony Orchestras and is sought-after with organizations including Jeunesses Musicales, Edmonton Recital Society, Festival of the Sound, Elora Festival, Summer Solstice Festival, and the Colorado Music Festival. She studied at the University of Toronto with Shauna Rolston and is on faculty at the University of Alberta.
