Pianist Maria Protodyakonova has performed in a wide variety of settings, including as soloist, chamber musician and collaborative artist. Growing up in Izhevsk, Russia she performed regularly with the Udmurtia State Symphony Orchestra. In 2007 Protodyakonova moved to USA to complete the Bachelor of Music degree at the International Center for Music at Park University, Missouri. Maria holds Doctor of Music and Master of Music degrees from University of Alberta. Maria Protodyakonova is an avid chamber musician and frequently performs in recitals with Edmonton musicians, such as Virginie Gagné (violin), Don Ross (clarinet), and the Enterprise Quartet.
