Classically trained and steeped in a scholar’s knowledge of the traditional Celtic sound (she has a degree in ethnomusicology), Keri Lynn Zwicker’s Harp Rouge trio features a fresh take on traditional folk songs, finger-blazing jigs & reels and fiery Latin instrumentals. She has toured with the trio in Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan, playing at festivals of all types, and was guest soloist on both classical and Celtic harp with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. She often represents Edmonton at home and on the road, supported by Edmonton Tourism. In 2010 she received a grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts to study Latin harp repertoire and technique and was subsequently engaged to perform as part of “An Irish Hooley” in four major California theatres in March of 2011.
Keri Lynn has a Juno award-winning CD to her credit, and teaches at the Alberta Conservatory of Music.
