Steve Williams has been a musician for nearly 40 years. He is a Calgary native and began his musical studies playing the clarinet. Several years after he began playing saxophone which became is main instrument. He has freelanced for many bands, of which some highlights are: Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, (for the Beatles Mystery Tour and Frank Sinatra pops tribute, both in 2022.) This year he was part of the Grandstand Show at the Calgary Stampede where he performed for 20000 people per night. He also is on the roster of the Prime Time Big Band which features all the very best sax players in town. Other groups he performs with are: Supersonic Hearts Band which is a premier corporate and wedding band, Bluesland Horn Band, and as well as Tricia Edwards’ Latin band Klave. Steve is very pleased to be able to perform for the Health Arts Society of Alberta!
