Neda Yamach

Neda Yamach grew up in St. Albert, Alberta, and began studying violin at the age 5. She received her Bachelor of Music Degree with Outstanding Achievement in Violin Performance at McGill University, and furthered her studies at the Manhattan School of Music. She is a recipient of the Winspear Fund Scholarship for Advanced Classical Music and the Siludette O’Connor Memorial Foundation Award. Yamach is a member of the Alberta Baroque Ensemble and the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and has appeared as a soloist with both ensembles. In addition to her work as a performer and teacher, Yamach is also an ESO Ambassador for YONA-Sistema.
