Eric Weiden, having toured with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Guy Lombardo And His Royal Canadians, multiple U.S. national tours of Broadway shows, is a jazz trumpet player who has been surrounded by great melodies his whole life. Having grown up in a musical household, he was surrounded by both classical and jazz recordings from an early age. Eric draws inspiration from those trumpet players who are great interpreters of melody and who play swinging improvisation like Louis Armstrong, Harry ‘Sweets’ Edison, Joe Wilder, and Wynton Marsalis. Eric also recently recorded The Eric Weiden Quartet “Through Haze” featuring his original jazz compositions.
