Elisabeth Mellinger

Elisabeth Mellinger began playing the oboe at the age of 11 and holds degrees from the University of Toronto and the New England Conservatory in Boston. She has performed solo and chamber music recitals in Canada and France, and today enjoys an increasingly active career as both a chamber music collaborator and a freelance orchestral player. Recent engagements have included the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the Kitchener-Waterloo and Windsor Symphonies, the Toronto Concert and K-W Chamber Orchestras, and the Spiritus early music ensemble. Elisabeth was a member of the popular Kitchener-Waterloo Wind Quintet from 2015 until her recent move to Edmonton.
